All Natural Gout Remedy Diet Tips

Gout symptoms generally occur at night.  They can become acute at times and last for a few days.  However, gout can be treated with all-natural remedies using simple household products.  Listed below are some of the best all-natural gout remedies and treatments.

Cherries, both sweet and sour, can be used to treat gout.  The patient should consume approximately fifteen to twenty five cherries in a day.  After the first day, the patient should consume approximately ten cherries on a daily basis in order to keep gout under control.  Even though fresh cherries are best, canned cherries can be used occasionally.

Raw vegetable juices are also good for treating gout.  Carrot juice in combination with beet and cucumber juice is especially valuable.  Mix together 100ml of beet juice with 100ml of cucumber juice and 100ml of carrot juice.  This should be taken on a daily basis.

The juice of French beans and string beans also gives a positive effect on gout.  Patients should take approximately 150ml of bean juice on a daily basis to help with this disease.

Apples are another excellent source for curing gout.  It is believed that the malic acid that is contained in apples neutralizes the uric acid and relieves gout.  Eating an apple after every meal is advised.

Bananas have also been proven to be beneficial in treating gout.  It is advised to eat a diet of bananas for three or four days in order to relieve gout.  A patient can consume eight or nine bananas in one day, and nothing else, during this period.

Limes are also beneficial for the treatment of gout.  Limes are full of vitamin C, and this has been known to prevent and cure sore joints as it strengthens the connective tissues of the body.  The citric acid that is present in limes is a solvent of the uric acid which is the primary cause of gout.  Squeeze the juice of half a lime into a glass of water and drink twice daily.

Safflower also has properties for treating gout.  Patients can take two safflower capsules on a daily basis in order to fasten the healing process.

Mustard is another aid for gout.  Take some mustard and grind it into a powder.  Take one part of the mustard and one part wheat powder and mix together.  Add a little water to make a paste and apply this to the achy parts of your body and leave overnight.

Taking two teaspoons of organic apple cider and mixing it with two teaspoons of honey will assist with treating gout.  This should be taken twice daily in order to reduce the amount of pain that the patient is experiencing.

If the pain of gout is concentrated in the big toe, soaking your feet in Epsom salt will do wonders.  Add two cups of Epsom salt to warm water and soak your feet until the water begins to cool.

Strawberries are another great gout treatment.  Strawberries are rich sources of vitamin C and should be eaten on a daily basis to assist in the treatment.  However, the strawberries must be fresh.

Eating several cloves of raw garlic on a daily basis will also help with the treatment of gout.  For better effects mince garlic together with black cherry juice.
